About us:

Thomasrocks is a family run independent toy shop based in Scotland, and we pride ourselves on providing a personal and friendly service. As official dealers you can be ensured that all our items come straight from the manufacturers. We are able to source a wide range of goods, so if you have any special request, please contact us.

Right to cancel:

You can cancel and withdraw from your order within 7 days of receiving your goods. No reason is necessary for the withdrawal, which must be given in writing (an e-mail will suffice). Prior to returning the goods you must contact us. Goods are returned at your own risk. All returned goods must be in their original undamaged packaging and unused.

Returns:

Goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt of goods. Returns must include details of the original purchase. Your are liable for the cost of returning the items to us and any subsequent re-shipping costs associated with the order. All returned goods must be in their original undamaged packaging and unused.

This right will have been fulfilled if you return the goods before the expiry of this period to:

Guarantee:

Your goods should be received in perfect condition. If, however, they are not, please contact us and we will arrange for them to be returned and replaced, or your monies refunded. The guarantee is given in accordance with legal requirements. Any additional guarantee statements are contained in the product descriptions. Your Statutory Rights are not affected.

Data protection:

We store and process customer data in accordance with the current legal requirements. These details are retained only for accounting proccesses. We do not share your details with any other parties.

You are entitled to receive information and to amend, block and delete your stored data. Please contact sales@thomasrocks.com or send us your request by post or fax.

Making a purchase:

Making a purchase is an easy process. Just browse the catalogue and click on any items you wish to buy and put them in the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click to go to the checkout. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept all major credit and debit cards, postal orders, cheques and paypal. We regret we are no longer able to defer debiting for items until it is ready to be posted. Due to changes in card processing we now need to take payment as soon as the order is placed. You can place an order over the phone, via the post, via e-mail or on-line. Please note, the address you enter must be the registered billing address for the card used. Failure to do this can lead to delays in processing the order. You can enter a different delivery address if you wish. For orders shipped to the UK and Europe, Vat at the rate of 17.5% is included in the charge.

Credit Card Security:

When the order is placed, all credit card numbers are encrypted in the software using 128bit encryption via a secure SSL server. Our site is a secure site. Always make sure you can see the padlock in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen when entering your card details.

Shipping & Postage:

We ship orders to anywhere in the world.

For orders to the UK:

Orders under 4kg will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, please allow 1-2 working days for delivery. Orders over 4kg will be sent via courier. Please allow 3 working days for delivery. We aim to post all orders within 24 hours of receipt if possible.
The postage rates for the UK are as follows:
Orders of > £80 Packing and shipping fee= 5.99; ,
Orders of more than £60 but less than 80 shipping= 5.99;
Orders of more than £50 but less than 60 shipping= 5.49;
Orders of more than £35 but less than 50 shipping= 4.99;
Orders of more than £25 but less than 35 shipping= 3.99;
Orders of more than £15 but less than 25 shipping= 2.99;
Orders up to £15 are £1.99 to post

For orders to Europe and rest of the world:

Once you have placed your order you will be contacted with a shipping cost. We require your confirmation before the order is posted.

Backorders:

Although we aim to keep a large number of items in stock, we sometimes run out. If your item is not in stock it will be placed on backorder. You will then be contacted with an estimated delivery date. If you would rather not wait, you will always have the option to cancel the item on backorder.

Urgent orders:

We appreciate that sometimes orders are required urgently. Please always contact us to tell us if an order is needed urgently, or if it is needed for a particular date. This is especially important in the months before Christmas, due to the large increase in orders.
